Mathematically speaking, the earlier you begin the habit of saving for retirement the better. You may think you have plenty of time to start saving for retirement. After all, if you are in your 20s you have your whole life ahead of you, correct? This may be true, however, why put off saving for retirement when you can start today?

The issue of retirement is much different than it used to be. With medical advances continuing to allow us to live longer, the need for proper retirement income planning has become a much more important topic.
